Bone Collector Trail

10 miles of intermediate to advanced, mostly single track, mountain biking trails.

Directions: Take Highway 44 west of Rapid City. After Hisega but before Johnson Siding, turn right on Log Porch Road, drive about a quarter of mile back on the dirt road to a closed gate. (Private home located here, be careful where you park.) From the gate, bike about 1¾ miles up the dirt road. You’ll pass a pond on the right. A third mile from the pond, turn left on a small singletrack trail marked with an orange trail marker. Pass through barbed-wire gate (be sure to close), take a left at the Y in the trail – when you see the bones tacked on a tree, that’s the start of the Bone Collector (BHMBA).
